When will Money Heist Season 5 Part 2 be on Netflix?
The final part of Money Heist will be released on Netflix globally on Friday, December 3rd, 2021.
All the Trailers for Money Heist Season 5 Part 2
We got our first glimpse at the last instalment of Money Heist during the Netflix TUDUM event. With the Professor strangely missing from communications and the building still surrounded by cops, the robbery gang debates how to flee and what to do with all the riches.
Then, on October 13th, 2021, we got our first tease for the last season, a 42-second teaser.
The last (official) trailer debuted on November 3rd, 2021, precisely one month before the final season premieres on Netflix.
It was accompanied by the teaser text:
“The world’s greatest heist comes to an end. Last season of Money Heist launching December 3rd, only on Netflix.”

What to expect from Money Heist Part 5 Volume 2?
There’s a lot to look forward to in the last instalment of Money Heist. As you may expect, there are a lot of spoilers below, so be careful!
Will Alicia hand the Professor over to the Police?
Alicia, like the rest of the heist gang, is now one of the most wanted women in Spain, Europe, and maybe the globe. The very pregnant Alicia gives birth after confronting the Professor and knocking out Marseille and Benjamin. Alicia was last seen taking a pair of players from the restroom and hiding them behind her sleeve. This suggests Alicia isn’t entirely on the Professor’s side yet, and there’s still a good chance she’ll be the spark for the heist’s demise, or at the very least the Professor’s demise.
It’s easy to see why Alicia might betray the Professor. The last thing she wants to do is spend her entire life on the run from the cops while raising her child. Giving over the Professor to the cops could get her back into Colonel Tamayo’s good graces.
Will the heist crew die or escape?
The team was devastated by the demise of Nairobi, and the death of Tokyo will have a similar affect on their mentality. With no more hostages, the only thing preventing Tamayo from dispatching the whole power of the police and army is the gold being held hostage, as well as the Professor’s possession of a damaging tape of the Colonel.
Naturally, we anticipate one or two of the robbery team to perish, but we also expect several survivors, even if this does not imply that the gold has been stolen. Given that the entire crime was launched to get Rio away from the cops, he’s one of the few we’d anticipate to escape.
At this pace, it’s anyone’s guess how the crew will escape.
Will Rafael join the heist?
Rafael, Berlin’s cyber security whiz son, was introduced as one of the season 5 subplots of Money Heist. Rafael, despite his hesitation and unhappiness, gradually learnt to like the adrenaline of stealing and sought to join the family enterprise. However, those incidents occurred before to the theft of the Spanish Mint, and Rafael has yet to be seen or included in a heist by the Professor.
Rafael might be living apart from his family. This is because we assume Rafael and Tatiana fled together, leaving a devastated but likely impressed Berlin behind.
Rafael is presently the wildcard, and with his assistance, the crew and Professor might be able to escape after all.
Is Tokyo really dead?
There have been many twists and turns in Money Heist, but no one can survive four grenades to the chest. Tokyo’s sacrifice gave the crew additional time because she was able to kill Ganda, Sagasta, and the majority of the Special Force men.
According to several fan ideas, Tokyo will return in the final season. At the very least, we anticipate to see her character in a flashback or two.
Are all the cast returning?
As filming took place for the first and second volume together, all of the cast will be returning according to Marca.
That means we’ll see:
- Itziar Ituno as Raquel Murillo
- Pedro Alonso as Berlin
- Miguel Herran as Rio
- Jaime Lorente as Denver
- Esther Acebo as Monica Gaztambide
- Enrique Arce as Arturo Roman
- Rodrigo de la Serna as Palermo
- Darko Peric as Helsinki
- Najwa Nimri as Alicia Sierra
- Hovik Keuchkerian as Bogota
- Luka Peros as Marseille
- Belen Cuesta as Manila
- Fernando Cayo as Luis Tamayo

What is the episode count for Part 5 Volume 2?
Money Heist’s last season will consist of five episodes. All of them are projected to finish around the 50-minute mark.
With the release of the last instalment of Money Heist, Netflix will have 41 episodes in total.
In addition, we’re anticipating episode 2 of Money Heist: From Tokyo to Berlin, a retrospective behind-the-scenes documentary.
Will there be a season 6 of Money Heist?
All good things must come to an end, but that doesn’t stop fans from being upset that one of their favourite series is nearing the conclusion of its run.
Money Heist creator Alex Pina has addressed the series’ finale in a number of interviews. Moving on to new ventures, such as Sky Rojo, is mostly credited.
The good news is that a slew of spin-offs have been hinted, which we’ll go into in more detail in a future piece.
Another major reason why the series is coming to an end is the cast’s desire. Money Heist boasts an excellent ensemble cast, and each season has only increased the cast’s popularity. When programmes with a star-studded cast are in such high demand, it’s exceedingly tough to continue creating them.
The good news is that at least one spin-off will be produced. We now only know about the Money Heist Korean spin-off, which will begin production in 2021.
You may even be able to participate in some of the pop-up Money Heist live experiences if you reside in a big city across the world.
