“We’ve been debating how to break up the band for about a year. How to tie the Professor up in knots. Money Heist writer and showrunner Alex Pina said in a statement about the Money Heist season 5 series’ final season, “How to get into circumstances that are irreversible for many characters.” “As a result, the fifth installment of La Casa de Papel has been completed. It’s the harshest and vicious season of the conflict, but it’s also the most spectacular and exciting.”
Season 5’s first volume, which has ten episodes, premieres on September 3. On December 3, the second and last installment of the series, which covers the remaining five episodes of the Money heist series, will be released on Netflix. Here’s almost all else you need to know about Money Heist’s last chapter.
The plot of The Money Heist Part 5, Volume 2
La Casa de Papel / Money Heist is finally coming back!
Part 5: Volume 1 premieres September 3
Part 5: Volume 2 premieres December 3
According to Netflix’s official synopsis, the group is stuck in the Bank of Spain with an army waiting to assault at the start of Season 5. Furthermore, the Professor has been apprehended, and he, too, does not appear to have a way out of their predicament.
The coronavirus pandemic hampered production on Season 5 of Money Heist, as it did many other shows. Still, Pina said the challenges pushed them to come up with something unexpected for the finale. “In Volume 2, we place a greater emphasis on the characters’ emotional situations. In a statement, he stated, “It’s a voyage across their sentimental map that connects us directly to their departure.”
Money Heist could be revived in new formats, according to Pina. In August, he told Oprah Daily, “We definitely have a lot of opportunities for some spinoffs, and I think that’s attributable to the strong and powerful personalities of the characters.” “We’ve always sought out characters with a deep, nuanced design. As a result, I believe that practically every character in Money Heist has a split personality that we would like to see explored further in a spinoff. Any of them could be viewed in a different context.”

Part 5 of the Money Heist, Volume 2 Cast
Though much of the core cast of Money Heist is slated to return for Season 5, it’s difficult to predict who will feature in Volume 2. Because the show has shown that it has no qualms about murdering off popular characters, not everyone will make it through Volume 1.
Aside from the core cast, Money Heist Season 5 includes actor Miguel Angel Silvestre as René, Tokyo’s old love interest slain during a robbery before the series’ events. Patrick Criado, a newbie to the show, will play the late former crew member Berlin’s secret son.
