The Motorola Moto E40, the latest E-series model from the Lenovo-owned company, was released in India on Tuesday, October 12. The latest Motorola phone has a triple-rear camera setup with a 90Hz display. The Motorolo E40 is water-resistant to IP52 standards. It’s available in two colours and has 64GB of inbuilt storage. An octa-core Unisoc T700 SoC, up to 1TB expandable storage, and a near-stock Android experience are among the Moto E40’s other attractions. The Moto E40 will face off against the Realme C21Y, Samsung Galaxy M12, and Infinix Hot 11.

Motorola Moto E40 pricing and availability in India

The only 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option of the Motorola Moto E40 is priced at Rs. 9,499 in India. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting at midnight on October 17 in two colours: Carbon Gray and Pink Clay.

Last week, the Moto E40 was released in Europe for EUR 149 (approximately Rs. 13,000) with the same 4GB + 64GB combination.

The Motorola Moto E40 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs Android 11 and has a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) IPS display with a 20:9 aspect ratio a refresh rate of 90Hz. The phone sports a Unisoc T700 SoC and 4GB of RAM under the hood. A 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter make up the triple rear camera arrangement. Portrait mode, Panorama, Face Beauty, HDR Night Vision, Macro Vision, and a Pro Mode are all available on the rear cameras.

The Moto E40 has an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor on the front, with an f/2.0 lens on top, for selfies and group chats.

The Motorola Moto E40 comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage and a dedicated microSD card slot for expansion up to 1TB. 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C connector are among the connectivity choices. An accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor are among the sensors onboard. There’s also a fingerprint sensor on the back.
