The two performance profiles’ difference is unclear. Reddit user Dudi4poLFr posted a thread detailing the difference between Standard and Light settings. Light mode minimises power consumption by decreasing the high-performance CPU and Adreno GPU. Even with Light mode on, “the phone seems quick and responsive,” and it only affects games and 3D apps.
