The Vivo X Fold S, the next foldable smartphone, has seen some of its most important features leak online, hinting that it will be released shortly. Recent rumours said the next phone will support 80W cable charging and have a 4,700mAh battery. The Vivo X Fold S, powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, is supposedly a significant upgrade over the original Vivo X Fold. The Vivo X Fold was unveile in April of this year, and it uses a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. It has a 4,600mAh dual-cell battery with support for 66W rapid wired charging and quad rear cameras with Zeiss optics.

On Weibo, tipster Digital Chat Station released specs for the next Vivo X Fold smartphone. The source claims that the Vivo X Fold S will include a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. In addition, the device reportedly has a 4,700mAh battery and can charge at 80W via cable or 50W wirelessly.

Vivo X Fold S Tipped to Feature

The primary display of the Vivo X Fold is an 8.03-inch Samsung E5 2K+ (1,916 x 2,160 pixel) panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it has a full-HD+ (1,080 x 2,520 pixel) cover display at 120 Hz with a screen size of 6.53 inches. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM are factory install in the phone.

The Vivo X Fold has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel portrait sensor, and an 8-megapixel super-telephoto camera housed in a periscope-style design for its back panel. Moreover, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera is include. In addition, the phone has a 4,600mAh dual-cell battery and supports 66W fast wired and 50W wireless charging, and it comes with up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Previous rumors have suggested that September is when Vivo would finally reveal the X Fold.

If true, this means that the Vivo X Fold S would be a significant upgrade over the Vivo X Fold, which was released in April and begins at a price of CNY 8,999 (about Rs 1,07,200) for the base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB of storage.
